Kingfisher Suite - Cottage
Decorated in soft blues, with influences from the colours of our native Kingfisher, this suite is total relaxation. From the minute you wake in your twin or super kingsize bed looking out over the bay until you sit on the verandah, wine glass in hand watching our magnificent sunsets you will feel you have arrived in Paradise.
The room is spacious with a large ensuite
Hibiscus Suite – Cottage
Russell and most of Northland is noted for the exuberance of the exotic Hibiscus so we felt it appropriate to decorate this suite in hibiscus colours resulting in a warm welcoming room. While you rest in your suite with King size bed or on the verandah, the native tuis and wood pigeons will keep you company as you enjoy watching the activities on the water in the bay below
Kowhai Room – Villa
Our logo is taken from the native Kowhai flower – brilliant bunches of yellow flowers that bloom august to September. This room looks out over our own Kowhai that at times can have up to twenty to thirty tuis drinking from the nectar of this beautiful flower
This spacious room has a small ensuite and is part of the main villa. This historic villa dates back to 1910 when it was noted that “Two substantial homes were built” in the village.
The Kowhai room also has magnificent views over the bay and guests are welcome to use the lounge and verandah of the villa to enjoy both the restful garden and panorama
